Alistair has coached archery to an international level since 2000 and has clients who have achieved national and international awards. He coaches both recurve and compound archers, with experience of all spheres of archery from club level upwards including Juniors, disabled archers as well as advising archers with injuries and how this affects their future careers.

Alistair's academic background includes a masters in Performance Psychology, whilst focusing on an approach based in humanism, he uses a mixed discipline approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Existentialism. Therapeutic interventions are tailored to the individual to deal with, amongst others: performance anxiety, continued peak performance and slump busting.

Alistair has many published articles in a variety of sport specific journals as well as working as a marketing Director for a major archery retailer. Recently his involvement in the Pro-Archery organization extended to live commentary for the Cartel Classic Pro tournament in Germany.
